Position Overview

Autodesk is in the midst of a significant back-office transformation, and we need a motivated individual in our Finance Business Transformation team to assist with project related work and User Acceptance Testing. This role combines accounting expertise, business systems analysis and hands-on UAT execution to support the successful delivery of Finance systems and capabilities against business requirements focusing on Autodesk’s SAP order processing systems. You will collaborate closely with Business Transformation lead, Revenue Operations, Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders in the Company.

Most work is completed during local business hours; however, successful candidates will be flexible and engaged in joining select meetings during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours as needed, particularly during active UAT cycles. Time shifting is not required, but presence during key discussions will support stronger outcomes.

This role follows a hybrid work model, recommendation to join in the office one day per week and special teams events in the Autodesk Bengaluru office, supporting collaboration, learning, and Autodesk’s office culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance stakeholders and other project members
  • Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements with a focus on accounting and reporting
  • Analyze current-state and future-state Finance system processes to identify impacts, risks and gaps
  • Assist with developing test plan and review of test scripts
  • Perform UAT on quote to collect process focusing on ERP and boundary systems as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT
  • Implement and document processes and procedures for internal controls
  • Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows
  • Monitor and validate orders after go live as part of post project support
  • Support backlog and enhancement activities and UAT

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 yrs of relevant experience and overall 6-8 yrs
  • Experience in finance project UAT for SAP S4 HANA
  • Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to speak up and ask questions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to understand and present data
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with applications for the quote to collect cycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA/CMA/CPA/MBA background
  • Experience and knowledge working with SAP order processing (S4 and ECC) and Business Objects
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in software or SaaS industry
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
  • Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers
