5C Dance Marathon is part of a national non-profit organization dedicated to fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the country and raising awareness for children’s health. At our program here at the 5C’s, we host community building and engaging events to fundraise for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Our club members work to engage the community with our cause connection, raising awareness for children’s health and CHLA through our programming and direct relationship with the hospital. We host events like carnivals, concerts, and rivalry rallies, in addition to managing social media campaigns and bringing special guests from the hospital to campus. Our main event occurs in the spring to celebrate the efforts of students throughout the year as well as invite Miracle Families from CHLA to campus. Students are also encouraged to develop personal fundraising for CHLA, but this is not a requirement of the organization.
Joining more than 350 colleges and universities in a national movement as one generation fighting for the next, 5C Dance Marathon is dedicated to improving the health and happiness of all of the children and families of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles CHLA, while engaging with our own community here in Claremont.
