David Spencer is a senior system engineer in the Utah Army National Guard AND provides artificial intelligence and analytics to dental offices as a civilian. He says he loves working with “people who have had grit in their life” such as veterans because “everything is earned and not given for them.”
We spoke with Spencer and other military members and veterans in mid-2022 as they networked at the Milken Institute Global Conference. We asked them about what veterans bring to work because of their unique experiences, and we are presenting their comments now as part of National Military Appreciation Month.
